Haverford Quality Global Strategy
Haverford’s Quality Global Strategy emphasizes quality, risk control, and discipline. We believe a domestic large-cap portfolio can be enhanced through exposure to areas such as international and small capitalization markets. Acting as satellite positions to Haverford’s cornerstone portfolios, these markets can provide additional diversification, risk reduction, and increased expected portfolio returns. Various stages of the economic cycle favor specific market segments. Haverford seeks to tactically shift exposure into those segments we believe will generate excess returns going forward.
Our proprietary portfolios provide active management, customization, and high levels of transparency. The Quality Global Strategy utilizes index-based strategies to provide broad exposure to diverse asset classes that offer potential risk/reward benefits.
Haverford’s Investment Committee meets regularly and is responsible for assessing market dynamics, setting both strategic and tactical allocations, and maintaining and implementing the investment process. While Haverford’s recommended strategic weightings are based on long-term market assumptions, changes in tactical allocations are periodically made in order to take advantage of market conditions.
